The Social Partners appoints MGOMD’S Pete Durant as Head of Social Planning

Europe’s leading full-service social media agency and Grey London sister agency, The Social Partners, has appointed Pete Durant as Head of Social Planning. Durant’s appointment follows the hire of Ben Jackson, Creative Planner, earlier in the year from M&C Saatchi.

Pete joins from Manning Gottlieb OMD where he was Social Media Director, leading the specialist Organic Social Media business unit. Previous to that, Pete worked at Cheapflights & Habbo Hotel, where he was Global Content & Global Creative Manager (respectively). His appointment reflects the growth of business from existing clients Allianz and News UK and The Social Partners continuing desire to strengthen its industry leading position.

Pete has produced award-winning creative social activation, content and social CRM programmes for Waitrose, Specsavers (Winner, Best Viral Campaign, Social Media Communications Awards), NSPCC (Winner, Best Use of Social Media, NMA Awards), and Renault. Pete is also a leading member of the IAB’s Social Media Council.
